Any woman worth her weight in Cosmos has (unfortunately) seen both S&TC movies. The first one a pleasing ending to a long-running, sometimes unrealistic but always enthralling show. The second…well….that was a waste of time for them and money for the rest of us.
Recently there have been talks of a prequel and even more recently, talks of that prequel being turned into a show for the CW. An excerpt from the Deadline post:
“With their sharp fashion sense and busy social life in Manhattan, the young ladies from the CW’s Gossip Girl often evoke Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw. Now a teen version of Bradshaw herself may be joining the CW’s lineup. I hear that the CW has emerged as the leading candidate for The Carrie Diaries, a TV series project based on Sex and the City author Candice Bushnell’s recent book about Bradshaw’s high school years.”
I can already imagine the many young actresses I’d love to see fill out Carrie’s wardrobe before it developed its iconic style and Charlotte in full prep mode. For the full story check out the article here.
