  • Lucas now looks like Chad Michael Murray in Freaky Friday.
  • “I won’t have you dying before I kill you.” – Spoken by the Russian mobster in the zip-down shirt and the leather pants.
  • Is Officer Stevens related to Chris Keller?
  • I didn’t believe for a second he was there to help Nathan anyway. How did he find him so quickly?
  • Xavier aka the older brother of Jack Daniels (Evan Peters, American Horror Story) is back. However, unless Evan Peters and Ashley Rickards are also making a return, don’t waste our time with such things.
  • Furthermore, why is EVERY killer in the nation currently residing in Tree Hill?! Dan Scott should be the least of our problems.
  • I know Sophia Busy and Chad Michael Murray aren’t exactly BFFs, but we couldn’t get just one scene with the two of them? And that was it?! The huge pay-off for “Lucas Returns”?!
  • “You look exactly the same.” – Lucas said to Jamie, who literally hasn’t grown an inch in the last five years.
  • Why did Haley ask Lucas if he remembered Quinn? Didn’t they grow up together? Aren’t they childhood friends?
  • Chris Keller and Chase either had a side-by-side twosome or an amazing foursome. Either way, kudos.
  • Chuck isn’t in school and he’s hanging out at the bar during the day. No big deal. Just had to point that out again.
  • Nathan’s chokeout moment would have been much cooler were it not for his unfortunate “How’s that for a comeback huh?”
  • When you speak before a parole board, the criminal is there? Since when?
  • Honestly, who else could possibly be in the morgue at this point? Nathan is the only one in immediate danger unless something else ridiculous happens this season.

Dan (Paul Johansson) enlists Julian (Austin Nichols) to help in his search for Nathan. Mouth (Lee Norris) fills Clay (Robert Buckley) in about Nathan (James Lafferty), as Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) explains Nathan’s disappearance to Jamie (Jackson Brundage). Brooke (Sophia Bush) gets an idea of how to bring patrons to an empty Karen’s Café, and Chris Keller (Tyler Hilton) confronts Chase (Stephen Colletti) about Tara (guest star Chelsea Kane).   • Mouth and Millie clearly don’t interact with Brooke and Haley all that much, otherwise they would have known Nathan went missing and Brooke went on a rampage at Tara’s cafe.
  • Nathan tied up in an abandoned warehouse just looks like something out of a really bad mob movie. But more importantly, it takes more than two guys to come to America just to kidnap and kill him?
  • Can Logan just go ahead and be the new Jamie?
  • “Over a basketball player? That’s insane.” Exactly.
  • So excited that Jaime took a stand against “Grandpa Dan”, it just sucks that Dan is trying to do the right thing this time.
  • Julian and Dan have met maybe once, maybe. Having Dan rent out Julian’s studio was such a lazy way for the writers to give him a source of income.
  • “Chris Keller is here for you.” Even if you are angry banging his girlfriend.
  • Dear makeup people, Lee Norris’ (Mouth) fat suit makeup was visible in almost all of his scenes. Not cool.
  • Whenever you’re accepting relationship advice from Dan Scott you might have to accept the fact you’ve hit rock bottom.
  • Most dramatic scene of the episode goes to: Logan in the scene where he dropped his head in adorable sadness as the doors closed.
  • Second most dramatic scene of the episode goes to: Clay when he dropped his bags….and seconds later lost his memory.
  • “I would have punched you, but I didn’t want to mess up my guitar hands.” Right. Nice kick, bro.
  • Tyler Hilton should perform his songs in every episode. Especially if we’ve completely abandoned the theme song.
  • Mouth figured out the motive behind Nathan going missing pretty quickly. Where was all this crafty detective work when Jimmy Edwards was accused of killing Keith?!
