TV Dinner and a Movie (TVDM) has changed hands and writers over the last three years, but the obsessive love for all things television (along with movies and pop culture) has never wavered.
If you’re not already familiar with our hodgepodge format, take a look around. Our “submission guidelines” are relatively non-existent. If it’s about TV, movies or some mix-and-match of both, then it’s already met 99% of our expectations (the other 1% would be a grasp of the English grammar and an ability to turn a phrase or two.)
If you are interested in contributing, have ideas, want to review a movie or just contribute to our weekly list(s)…let us know on the nifty form below.
The Cast of TVDM (past and present)
- Nicole (nicolewritenow)
The brains and brawn behind the whole TV Dinner and a Movie operation. The first post we ever did sums us up pretty well…or as much as two paragraphs can sum up two completely different people, but you get the overall idea.
- Kristen (kris10alyse)
Kristen Cassel is the kind of person who laughs out loud on quiet train car while reading a book or watching something on her iPhone. An aspiring writer and avid TV viewer she hopes to write recap blogs that will make readers laugh more than they did while watching the show. Think she can’t do it….Challenge Accepted. Find her @ frustrateddreamer.com
- Nicole (nmnelson)
Nicole N. is a writer and art historian currently trying to view everything on Netflix before she gets a real job. She enjoys shows based in her hometown of Chicago, anything in the sci-fi, fantasy, or paranormal genre, and Chris Evans’ abs. Follow her on Twitter: @nicolemnelson.
- Hayley (saidhayley)
Hayley Igarashi is debating a future as a writer, lawyer, or most preferably, a time-traveling bounty hunter with a plucky talking dog sidekick. She likes reading and watching TV shows and movies that either make her think about life differently or laugh so hard she scares the neighbors.
- Emily (emilymorita)
Emily Morita is patiently waiting to switch places with her parallel self, as she is convinced that Femily, or Fake Emily, has been hard at working setting up a comfy life which includes an Alaskan Malamute named Geoff, a successful job as a writer, and a red Mini Cooper. The fact that Femily might be waiting for the same thing is something Emily does not think about. Until this occurs, Emily is content reading, writing, and watching an unending amount of television.
- Alicia (aliciawrites19)
Alicia Kindred hopes to one day become a professional writer or an English professor. She’s a self proclaimed fantasy nerd that enjoys reading, watching horror movies/ television shows in complete darkness, and throwing random but completely necessary Lord of the Rings quotes into ordinary conversations.
- Spencer (coloneldoctorspenceresquire)
Spencer Moravek is into Workaholics, GiantBomb, and other types of stupid nonsense. He wants to become a shrink, which is a scary thought for all involved.
- Will (will33t4food)
The brains and brawn behind the whole TV Dinner and a Movie operation. The first post we ever did sums us up pretty well…or as much as two paragraphs can sum up two completely different people, but you get the overall idea.
- Joe (gooderwriterthanyou)
Joe Finch is a multifaceted individual. Aside from being an aspiring writer, he specializes in foot massage and currently operates a successful pyramid scheme.
- Kat (eyeofkatt)
Kat used to be a reporter but discovered she preferred making things up. She hates people who say they never watch TV but somehow know the names of everyone on Jersey Shore and who’s winning on DWTS.
